HSE inspector gives Barbour Fit Out another clean bill of health

It was great to get a clean bill of health from our local H.S.E. Inspector during an unannounced inspection  of our manufacturing facility in Glasgow during September.    This follows hard on the heels of the clean report we received from the HSE during a site inspection at one of our refurbishment sites in Buchanan Street Glasgow.

Safe practice forms an integral part of our refurbishment and manufacturing processes so getting the thumbs up from the regulator is another indication that we are managing our risk properly.    Not only do we regularly carry out internal inspections of our premises and sites to keep colleagues on their toes but we also have regular inspections by third parties which ensures our procedures are constantly evolving to meet new challenges as they present themselves.

On top of these inspections our procedures and arrangements are audited annually by various health and safety accreditation providers including Safecontractor, Eurosafe UK CDM Competent, Constructionline and Altius Supply Chain Performance, all of whom are members of the health & safety umbrella organisation Safety Schemes in Procurement.
